Meet the Team

  • Dr. Beth Warren

    Dr. Beth Warren graduated salutatorian from Hugh M. Cummings High School in Burlington, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Johnson Scholar, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree.

    Dr. Warren continued her education at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she was chosen to be a Student Ambassador and then inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa, the national optometric honor society. After graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree and a Doctorate in Optometry in 1996, she joined her family in King.

  • Dr. J. Kent Doub

    After graduating from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1985, Dr. Kent Doub completed internships at the Eye Care Surgery Center in Baton Rouge, LA and the Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada, OK. He was in private practice in Winston-Salem, NC for 20 years, specializing in pediatric eye care. Before joining Community Eye Associates, Dr. Doub worked for eight years at Hawthorne Eye Associates, practicing medical eye care and managing surgical patients.

    Dr. Doub serves as a board member of the Forsyth County Department of Health and Human Services. He enjoys working on his farm, gardening and woodworking, in addition to spending time with family and friends.

  • Blaine Jarrett
    Optical Manager

    Blaine is an expert in frame and lens selection. He can help you choose the eyewear that fits you and your vision perfectly.

  • Cindy Billings
    Office Manager

    Cindy is responsible for accounting and many other business aspects of our practice. She also oversees both the optical and the contact lens departments, and provides valuable support to every area of the office.

  • Rosmary Warren

    Talk to Rosemary if you have questions about your insurance. She does all the billing to the insurance companies, and provides assistance at the front desk

  • Brandy Fulk and Karen Del Real
    Pretesting & Contact Lenses

    Brandy and Karen, our pre-testers, gather information that is needed before the doctor sees you. They record your medical, family and ocular history and visual acuities, and measure depth perception, field of vision, eye pressure and much more. They then prepare the exam room for your visit with the doctor. 

    Both ladies can also answer your questions about contact lenses and solutions. They instruct new contact lens wearers on proper lens insertion, removal and care.
